Estes Park painting finished

Well I finished it up a few days ago. After getting my stitches out of my foot I was able to start painting again but I didn't feel like working on this as yet. So I did five other paintings and then finished Estes Park. I'll probably take it out to Art Trends Gallery next week.

Leg Up

This piece was done on recycled plywood that used to be a floor in my office. When I took it apart and removed the tile I decided not to waste the wood. So I cut it into various sizes and have been painting some of them. The painting of the bridge over the stream was done on that wood and so was the Spanish Church painting I did a few months ago. I would be interested in getting some comments on this painting. Let me know if you like it, hate it, or just don't care.

New painting

I got the stitches out of my toe Thursday night and was able to start walking without crutches. So Friday I decided to create an impressionist style painting after being inspired by my Van Gogh book. It doesn't look like a Van Gogh but it is impressionistic. I've been thinking about painting this scene for a long time and started a watercolor a few years ago but didn't finish it. This piece was done in acrylic. I hope you enjoy seeing it.
