Galway City Ireland Commercial Boat Grafite Drawing
Sold
I drew this from a photograph I took in Galway City Ireland in 2001. I have always loved boats and water so this drawing combines them both. It measures 7.5×10 inches and is nicely matted and framed.

Apple Still Life Impressionistic Oil Painting
I liked the way I painted the apple in my Still Life on Antique Wash Stand painting below and decided to do a small painting just of the apple. So here it is. It is sitting on a wooden cutting board. The painting measures approximately 5 x 6 inches and is unframed.

Still Life on Antique Wash Stand
I created this still life after looking at some of Cezanne's pieces. I love his still lifes better than any I have seen. So I set out to create on in the style of Cezanne. At first I set up the scene on a table and then I remember this piece of antique furniture I have and used it. What an improvement. I don't know if Cezanne would like the painting or not but it pleases me. Is is oil on canvas and measures 12 x 16 and is framed.

Pelican Island in Sioux Passage Park, St. Louis County, Missouri
I painted this painting from one of a number of photos I took this year at Sioux Passage Park. Sioux Passage is one of my favorite places near my home. I often ride my bike over to the park and ride through it and down to the Missouri River. The park is very hilly so I get a good workout. I usually take some watercolors or a sketch pad with me and sketch or paint a couple of scenes. My photos were taken when the leaves on the trees were still green so I had to use my imagination to create the autumn colors. I really love these kinds of scenes where trees and branches are reflected in the calm water. Give me a spot with a stream, lake, or river on it and I'm happy.

I purchased this pear along with some other produce that I plan to paint. This is a Bosc pear and is very tasty when ripe. I plan to eat it tomorrow. This is another of my Daily Paintings. It is an original miniature oil painting measuring approximately 6 x 5 inches. It was done on canvas on panel and is unframed.
