Anderson Home Step-by-Step Commissioned Oil Painting by Daniel Fishback

After making a drawing on the canvas, I began to block in the major shapes.

I worked more on the lawn, trees, the fence, and added some roof color.

I continued to work on the lawn, added tree limbs, and added more color to the sky.

I added more shrubs, more detail to the windows and door, and adjusted the color of the stucco.

Next, I add mored foliage to the trees, some fallen leaves in the mulch, more detail on the windows, roof, and highlights to the shrubs.

I added more detail to the door, porch above the door, and windows. I also added some fallen leaves to the lawn and started to add leaves to the small tree in the mid-ground.

I added highlights to the foliage, finished painting in the potted trees, and put more detail on the front door and colums supporting the porch.

I added highlights and shadows to the stucco, columns, and lawn. I added detail to create the look of tiles on the roof, and made final adjustments of color where needed. I then signed and photographed the finished painting.
