View Along the Great River Road - Oil 18 X 24 - Available

This landscape painting was created from a photograph I took while driving home one night from my Elsah Illinois art gallery. I couldn't resist reaching for my camera and pulled over to snap this beautiful sunset. The biggest challenge for me with this painting was to recreate this dramatic cloud formation without making the clouds look heavy. I took my time and worked until I got the desired effect. This landscape painting is framed in a beautiful Spanish Black custom frame.
