Hot Day on the Mississippi River Creating this Landscape Painting

This was my set up and the view that I had while plein air painting a few weeks ago. The temperature was in the mid 90's and the heat index reached around 105-110 degrees. I worked on this landscape painting for about 5-6 hours one day and another 2 or 3 hours the next day.

A Quick Photo Before I Quit For the Day on Day 2. I had had enough heat and humidity for a little while. So I decided to finish the painting in my studio. I spent the next 2 days working on it in my studio.

View Along the Great River Road II - Available

This landscape painting was created in plein air. The location is along the Great River Road approaching the turn off to Clifden Terrace heading West. This landscape painting is framed in a beautiful Spanish Black custom frame.
